My grandma was an amazing sweet caring lady, of who anyone who met her instantly loved her, She was taken from us so suddenly on the 14 May 2005 after a heart attack, This year she would have been 70th birthday, Although 2 years have gone by the pain of losing such a big influence in my life is still hard, Ive set up this page just as a mark of respect for an inspirational super gran who i will never forget,
The Broken Chain
We knew little that morning that God was going to call out your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

I long to see your face
Just once again, to see your smile
And dream of your embrace.

She Is Gone

A baby cradled in your arms...
Teaching me your gentle charms.
Growing up with you by my side...
Learning from you never to lie.
To understand and not judge too...
Love and kindness I also learned from you.
Through the years you watched me grow...
Teaching me everything I'd need to know.
Listening to every word I've said...
And every word I've wrote you've read.
You've been there for me to the end...
Until the day for you, God did send.
Now you watch me from up above...
Shining down on me your heavenly love.

A heart of gold
mam you were the sort of person everyone loved, the first person people turned to for help and support. A diamond with a heart of gold.mam had a hard life from the start . She lost her hearing but bounced back, but loosing dad she lost abit of her sparkle, for 15 years she played a big part in our lives, living with me, we became very close and despite her own problems she was my rock, she has left a hole in my life nobody else can fill, and i will love and miss her for ever. No more tears mam your reunited with dad love and miss you both always
My Grandma
Grandma you where a wonderful woman whom I will never forget. Two years have passed and you are still in my thoughts day after day. You had a big heart and left me with memories I will carry with me forever. Its still hurts I never got to say goodbye but you are at peace now. I love you grandma God bless xxx
My grandma
Grandma you helped me to become the person i am today, you were always so loving and caring all through your life you always gave to others and never yourself. You were took from us sooner than we thought, 68 is a young age but you were tired of life and wanted to be with granda as you had lived 15 years without him. Words could never beging to explain grandma how i felt the day you were took, empty i was at the thought of you gone, nobody has ever wrote a book are told how to deal with loosing such an influence in life, that empty space now full of the happy memories you left for me to treasure. Thankyou grandma for everything you were and eveything you taught me. You were a great lady grandma and eveyone that knew you would most definatley agree you touched so many hearts. I always miss and will never forget you love Jemma xxxx

Safely in the morning,
You heard a gentle call,
You took the hand God offered you,
And quietly left us all.
